VEFA HIGH SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

Vefa High School is aiming at graduating students depending on moral and humanity values while communicating with the developing world successfully by having an effective use of the foreign languages.

In addition, our school´s main focus is to be a model for other schools with its practices and success in education field as playing a leading role in shaping the concept of ´information society´ and ´international-mindedness´.

The basic principles of Vefa High School are as follows;

•To teach students, science, affection and tolerance as a life philosophy,

•To put forward free and scientific thought as open-minded students,

•To enable students to be participative and sharing as part of a team,

•To aim at quality and productivity as life-long learners 

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
